As part of our work on the “Mobilità nello spazio esperienziale delle Tre Cime” (“Mobility in the experiential area of the Three Peaks”) project, IDM and other partners developed a technical solution which can, at any time, be extended to meet the needs of other tourism organisations or partners. In South Tyrol, there are a number of hotspots with an extremely high density of visitors: These are the “must-see” and “instagrammable” destinations. IDM has developed an ad-hoc guide for these hotspots which will help the managers of the sites to find crowd prevention and control solutions.
