IDM conducts marketing campaigns for quality products from South Tyrol in the food retail sector.
IDM’s Trade Marketing Food department plans and implements a vast range of promotional activities for the apple, speck, milk, wine sectors, and for Quality South Tyrol products. In addition to campaigns for individual products, we also organise, on an increasingly regular basis, joint point-of-sale presentations under the “South Tyrol” umbrella brand and targeted towards trade partners both in Italy and abroad; by taking this approach, we aim to consolidate the image of South Tyrol as the homeland of agri-food products, provide information regarding quality, and increase awareness and reputation of our traditional products: All of this will, in turn, boost sales.

IDM conducts specialist marketing campaigns in the B2B sector:
- We promote, organise and manage point-of-sale presentations.
- We network with trading partners to strengthen commercial relations and develop Trade Marketing projects.
- We organise training courses and workshops for market managers, department managers and specialist personnel and provide the relevant training materials.
- We organise trade fairs and B2B events.
- We offer our trading partners training trips in South Tyrol.
- We conduct advertising campaigns (press, radio, TV and online channels of trading partners) and produce point-of-sale advertising materials.
Our cross-product marketing initiatives generate an increase in sales and customer loyalty with our trading partners.
In retail sales, in addition to our base messages of quality, origin and sustainability, we are centring our focus on the concepts of taste and the “South Tyrolean lifestyle,” uniting the themes of South Tyrol as both a tourist destination and the “Made in South Tyrol” product sector.
